The Bar Cock is hidden behind the Gran Via and around it are many other very nice places. The Cock was created in 1921 and since 1985 has been a cocktail bar. It has been open for a long time and has been a meeting place for artists, art critics, gallery owners, and others from the contemporary art sector.
